The Volkl Organix 9 is a lighter weight frame offering excellent control from its thinner 21mm beam, in a lighter weight player-oriented spec. Offers a 98 square inch headsize, standard 27 inch length, and open 16x19 string pattern builds on the popular spec found in the Power Bridge 9, and continues to make the Organix 9 a suitable choice for the intermediate to advanced player with a longer swing. Sensor Tour handle offers excellent comfort without numbing frame feedback. More controlled than the Organix 8, but more forgiving than the Organix 10.
Organix material technology combines the power of carbon nano tubes with the feel and dampening of natural cellulose as a base material. By surrounding the cellulose fibers with the carbon nano tubes within the frame layup, elastic properties are created, and offers a springboard effect and excellent frame response.

Review Summary (Based on 2 Reviews)
Update from previous review. Moved the added lead tape from 2 and 10 O'Clock, to 3 and 9 O'Clock. Still counterbalanced with lead tape wrapped around the throat of the racquet just above the grip, and covered with the rubber band.
Dialed in now.
I play at about a 5.0 level and am looking to move up. This racquet works for me and I have tried more racquets than most people. It is very stiff to have such a thin beam. This allows me to generate power and still hit with a lot of spin without hitting the frame. I haven't figured out my exact custom weight yet but I am going to add between 12 and 16 grams of lead tape at 2 and 10 O'Clock and then add more lead just above the grip handle (under the rubber band) to bring the racquet back to it's factory strung balance of about 5 points head light. I have it strung with babolat pro hurricane 18 gauge string, and two over grips.
My strung weight will be somewhere between 12.4 and 12.8 ounces.
Definitely worth a demo.
