Smart Sensor Ready
This features provides the opportunity for you to add your smart sensor to the end of this racquet handle. With the smart sensor technology you can track your shots and strokes, and then analyze your play in real time.
This technology uses BLX designed inserts made from basalt composite that are placed within the handle along with engineered foam material for vibration dampening.
The BL in BLX stands for basalt, which is a volcanic rock material known for its incredible vibration dampening properties. The basalt is then used inside the frame of the BLX racquets along with 10 additional elements to create the "Perfect feel".
By drilling the grommet holes parallel to each other this technology not only increases the sweet spot but also established a more forgiving string bed response.
Braided Graphite + Basalt
Braided graphite and basalt are combined to create a reactive material used in the frame of the racquet. The combination of these materials increase the flex of the frame creating added feel and control.
I have played with the Wilson Blades for 5-6 years, the older model. So when this new version racquet was sale priced at $79.00 I went for it. It is more arm friendly than the older version. I love it. Bought 2. I play 5+ times a week.

Fun pink cosmetic, bought this racquet for my daughter who now plays varsity tennis for her high school team. She really enjoys this frame; it can be used by an assortment of players on a bunch of different levels. The 104 square inch head size ensures that power will be provided. It has a dense 18x20 string pattern, which allows for the natural power to be controllable. She has mentioned to me that the extended length has helped a little bit with her reach on shots from all of the court. She’s played really good tennis while having this racquet as the #1 frame in her bag!
