Took both the Burn 99 & 99S out to compare during a demo session. Big take away was that the 99 offered a lot less spin but more control. Both frames are very easy to swing — they cut through the air with incredible pace. I was able to get nice response off the stringbed, leading to solid depth on my shots from the baseline. At the net, the 99 offered pretty good stability for a thin beamed racquet. Overall, you should expect less spin from the 99 compared to the 99s but with the 18x19 string pattern, a nice bit of control.

As a 4.5 - 5.0 player I loved the Blade with it's control and power but this new stick tops it ! the new design offers speed and stability. Comfortable and forgiving I was impressed by the play with NXT Power 17g @58 lbs. the new X2 ergo grip was great for my two handed backhand friends but my old school one-hand backhand was made faster.A must try!

I played with the Wilson as a demo and I fell in love with it immediately. If you are a baseline player, this is the stick for you. I love its power, speed and control. The new FST technology allows you to whip the head faster so you can hit deep baseline shots. The 11.5 weight and head balance is perfect for my strokes and serve. Lastly, its look cool!

I was playing with the WilsonPro Staff RF and decided to try a lighter racquet in the Wilson line. I tried the Pro Staff 98, Burn 100, Blade 98, Ultra 100 and the Burn FST 99. The Burn FST 99 was the perfect racquet for me. My groundstrokes, serve and returns were consistent playing with this racquet. Power, control and pace were perfect.
