The Wilson Five BLX is updated for 2014 and remains the ultimate comfort racquet in the BLX series. Features a versatile 103 sq. in. headsize and new Amplifeel 360 handle system to enhance power and feel. The Five BLX also features Double Hole Technology, which increases the diameter of the grommet holes. The string bed is allowed to flex more when impacted by the ball resulting in a smoother feel and added power. Triad technology in the yoke provides ultimate shock dampening for comfort in a mid plus frame. The latest Five BLX continues to be a high-powered, maneuverable frame that provides great feel to go along with maximum comfort in a lightweight frame.
I've struggled with elbow pain issues throughout my tennis career, so I was looking for a racquet that could eliminate those arm aches and pains, found it with the Wilson Five Blx. Judging by the lightness and the fact that its a head heavy frame you would think it's for a beginner but it's not. I am an intermediate 3.5 level players and I've found enough control within this frame to really experience how good it is. Another quality racquet Wilson has added to the collection.

I play 3.0 at my club and use Wilson sensation string. The pro recommended I try this because I needed an arm friendly racquet. I am not a strong woman but I am very consistent . This racquet is light enough to swing hard and give me some power. Helps me move the ball around the court nicely.

This lightweight racquet is a great choice for those wanting a slightly larger head size that will allow you to plow through shots with little to no effort. Even though it is extremely light, I experienced no arm pain with this frame. What sold me on this racquet was the lack of effort required for my shots. As I’m getting older I need the racquet to do most of the work for me, and that is exactly what I got with this frame! This racquet provides an ample amount of feel and comfort in addition to great control. The slightly larger head size makes for a comfortable feel and generous sweet spot. I believe the comfort of this racquet can be credited to the new Amplifeel handle system from Wilson. This frame was extremely maneuverable and made it easy for me to move around the court. I would definitely recommend this racquet for anyone looking to add some comfort and power to their game. I’m 50 years old and a 4.5 interclub player.

The Wilson Triad racquets are really exceptional in damping shock. This is a nice racquet, not as powerful as the Three. A great choice for someone with a sensitive arm.

This was a gift to my father-in-law and it is perfect for his style of tennis that highlights control and shot placement. This is one of the best racquets he's owned and he uses it exclusively these days.
5 StarsVersatile stick

I shopped around for a long time before I bought this racquet. The closest competitors for a comfortable racquet with easy power and good feel were the Vokls. But this is superior. I suffer from painful tennis elbow and this racquet reduces my pain to nothing. Love serving with this racket. Lots of control, spin and power. Volleys took a bit of getting used to but now I love the solid feel at the net. This stick is very versatile I feel. If I want to hit for power I can. If I want to step it down a notch and play with more control and reliability, it's excellent for that. Hopefully it is durable as my last Wilson blx broke after just 2 years.

Love the strings. Played with the demo w/o much success. The new BLX 5 I ordered with the new strings affords a dramatic improvement in my game. I want the same strings again!
