I sold my previous racquet that I got from Midwest and have regretted it since that time. Since that racquet had been discontinued, I have been on the search for a replacement for a year. I have tried so many and in the process, suffered tennis elbow and needed something arm friendly. I had stayed away from this one because it was so light (all the others were 12 oz racquets), but I was totally surprised at the comfort, stability, power and spin of this sub 11 oz racquet. After demoing this one, it suits my game perfectly. I believe that players from beginner to upper intermediate would enjoy and get a lot from this stick. I strung it at 55 lbs with hybrid of poly and syn gut and the sweet spot is generous and it has great feel as well. For heavy hitters and advanced players, this may be a little on the light side but for my level of play and at 45+, it suits me well! It is nicely priced as well!!
Great racquet, all around power and control
I started tennis with Pro Staff. Then I moved to Babolat AeroPro Drive which I liked but I got tennis elbow after a while. Then I temporarily moved to a very light and flexible Babolat Drive Z Lite Pink Mid+ until my tennis elbow healed. This racquet was not stable returning big serves etc. I demoed the 100L and loved it. I bought it right away and am still loving etc. I strung it with BiPhase one at 56 lbs and its perfect for me, no issues with tennis elbow. It works extremely well in all areas, serves, ground strokes, return of serve and volleys. I love the balance and stability. My game improved overnight. I would strongly recommend this racquet. I am a 3.5 player.
It literally is perfect for me. I am able to achieve the accuracy that I want while still getting pop on the ball. It's solid at net also. Overall, good precision and comfort racquet.
