This was the first "substantial" tennis shoe I feel I've had. Before this I've had two other pairs of lightweight shoes. I was afraid the extra weight would be disruptive, but I was wrong.
Putting them on at first, I noticed they were heavier than I was used to. I'm a runner and I run in shoes that are about 8oz. These are about 14. They felt a bit clunkier than my other shoes but they also felt more supportive.
Within about 5 minutes on the court, I forgot I had new shoes. The shoes were a non-issue - which for me is very telling. They did what they needed to do and did not bother me at all. They fit great and allowed me to move in the court just like I wanted. I'm very happy with these!
This shoe feels very solid, secure, comfortable on the foot, also feels light. I have trouble with weak ankles, but this shoe, with its inside support "strap," really feels secure. I like the styling and very wide forefoot also. And at a very attractive price, one just cannot do better. Sizing is the same as my old Wilsons; order your true size.
Ever since K-Swiss discontinued the Defier Fs (Why do manufacturers do that?), I have been searching for high performance shoe with great comfort, and a roomy toe box. I had never worn Wilson's before but the reviews sounded good. Ah, these are the shoes. I ordered a pair, and after 3 weeks of play, I ordered a second pair.
Great shoes for the price of it with big discount from the store. I used to buy and worn the Nike shoes because they are good and fit my feet well. This Wilson shoes is not bad at all comparing to the Nike shoes that I worn before. The color is nice and looking sporty.
The Wilson shoe is very comfortable. I am pleased with the feel I get on the court. I have worn Wilson shoes in the past and will continue to do so.
The rubber band fit is too tight and inconvenient.
Removable sole feels good
You never really know just how comfortable a pair of shoes are until you wear them for at least a week. The shoes felt fine at first but then my left foot felt cramped and started to ache. I had to cut the sole w/ scissors to make more room. I wear an 11.5.
