The 2015 edition of the Wilson Six One Team BLX offers a great cosmetic update to the 2012 version. This frame picks up where the KSixOne Team left off, now with the improved feedback of the amplifeel handle and player oriented 18x20 string pattern. Wilson continues the use of Basalt fiber BLX technology for improved feel and frame feedback, in the classic Pro Staff tradition. Lighter static weight and 18x20 string bed further improves maneuverability, control and spin potential for advanced players. Specifications are very similar to the past generation Six One Team, with the update to the stringbed ideal for a player seeking a denser 18x20 string pattern for added stringbed stiffness.
Note: This racquet is pre-strung with Wilson Sensation 16 at Wilson's recommended tension of 54 lbs.
Please Note: Wilson does not include a cover with this racquet.

This technology uses BLX designed inserts made from basalt composite that are placed within the handle along with engineered foam material for vibration dampening.
The BL in BLX stands for basalt, which is a volcanic rock material known for its incredible vibration dampening properties. The basalt is then used inside the frame of the BLX racquets along with 10 additional elements to create the "Perfect feel".
For the price, you can't get a better classic control racket than this one. It's also a beautiful racket reminding me of the Justin Henin racket in the old days. The power is on the low side with the strung string that came with the racket (Sensation 16g).
Midwest is also very friendly and generous in offering the T-shirt and discount for this racket. Thanks you! Will shop Midwest again!
