I currently play with a Prostaff 100LS and wanted to try a larger head size. I also wanted to see if the increased spin created tby this racquet would improve my game.
I didn't think the racquet had as solid a "feel" as my prostaff but it did produce a lot of spin. For those seeking more spin, you should try this racquet.
I was looking for a racquet with power, control, and ease on my arm.
This racquet was easy on the arm, looks good, and light weight.
However, in comparing it side by side with a Prince 105 ESP and Volkl V1 mid Pro, this one just does not measure up.
It did not produce the spin like the Volkl, and was about the same as the Prince.
It definitely did not have the power of either of the other two racquets.
So, it is not high on any list I have
I would recomend this racquet. Plenty of power and spin. Great for baseliner..
I am 5.0 level like to serve and volley
I was looking for more control but with spin to add more consistency on my one-handed backhand
Absolutely amazing for one-handed backhand!
Very poweful with consistency added and it has amazing control
Spin technology that Wilson added as amazing and I absolutely loved it!
Great racket! Definitely suggest it to YOU!
I am a baseliner and really liked the power, I would recomend this racquet
After using this Wilson Steam Series 105S racquet through the Demo program I purchased it and absolutely love it! I'm a 64 year old doubles player in the 3.5 / 4.0 category and this racquet has really made a difference in my serve and ground strokes. Very spin friendly.
I played with the Wilson Steam 105 demo racquet because it is advertised as spin friendly. It is, and I liked it so I purchased it. I am 69 years old USTA3.5 playing mostly doubles now. I play the net and the baseline and found this racquet to be very good for both. Some people say that strings don't last long, but I can't verify that yet. Overall it is a good racquet for someone not looking for too much power
