A sequel to the popular Yonex RDS 001 and RDX 500, the RQiS Tour 1 still provides control and predictability, with a very traditional feel. The "iS" in RQiS stands for Impact Speed-a snap-back action which stores energy on impact, then releases it with tremendous power and speed. Yonex utilizes a new graphite construction known as Cup-Stack Carbon Nanotube in its RQiS racquets which helps the frame flex, yet provide quick repulsion for power and a solid feel.
The RQiS series sontinues the use of Elastic Ti in the shaft of the racquet. Elastic Ti overcomes the limitations of conventional frame materials. With its powerful rebound effect, a split second after impact and deflection, the Elastic Ti frame snaps back to its original shape with high accuracy and with the full energy of the swing.
