The Yonex Power Cushion Pro tennis shoe, in a new color for 2014, includes all the performance of the last generation of Power Cushion tennis shoe. Lighter and more flexible upper improves breathability and comfort, Guard Durable Skin helps prevent lateral movement of the foot inside the shoe while retaining the shape of the upper shoe, while Tough Brid cushioning lasts longer and is more responsive than traditional EVA for a lightweight and cushioning stable shoe.
Upper: synthetic leather, mesh, Durable Skin, TPU
Outsole: Round Sole, Endurance Rubber
Midsole:ToughBrid Light, Power Cushion, TPU, Graphite sheet
YONEX POWER CUSHION: Drop an egg onto the Power Cushion and it will bounce back without breaking. A new technology from Yonex, Power Cushion, with superb shock-absorption and repulsion power for the next generation in shoe design. Yonex Power Cushion Technology responds to quick and sharp movements by transforming shock into kinetic energy. Furthermore, this unique characteristic reduces muscle fatigue on your legs, so you are fresher going into the fifth and final set.
YONEX ROUND SOLE: Round Sole provides a feeling of increased comfort while maximizing the transfer of body energy into every shot. With Round Sole positioned on the side and heel of the shoe, it prevents any awkward landings and permits quick, smooth footwork around the court.
Bought these shoes based on other reviews and Tennis Magazine Editor's pick. I wore Asics Gel Resolution 4s for years, until I couldn't find them anymore, and was turned off by the reviews for the Resolution 5 and 6. I've had these Yonex shoes a couple weeks and have worn them 5 or 6 times. They are a bit narrow in the forefoot (I have fairly wide feet) but have plenty of room in the toe box. I'm compensating by wearing thin running socks. They feel very stable on the tennis court, due to the slight concavity of the bottom surface and the grippy soles. Heel fits perfectly. Lightweight. Slightly less arch support than I would have liked. I have noticed a tinge of lower back pain after 2 hours on court, but am not sure if the shoes are to blame ... maybe it's because I'm playing more aggressively due to feeling secure in the shoes? Bottom line, they seem like a good shoe, look great, and the price at Midwest Sports was the lowest I found online.

These tennis shoes fit like a glove. Pluses include: no break-in time required, fit true to size, offer good arch support. I purchased my first pair after Tennis magazine rated them tops in women's shoes, and I was in the market for a new pair. They are the best shoe for me. I am on my second pair.
