The Yonex RDiS 200 Light is the next generation of the RDS 002 and slots in between the control of the RDiS 100 and forgiveness of the RDiS 300. Utilizes Yonex's Impact Speed technology for enhanced frame response. The "iS" in RDiS stands for Impact Speed-a snap-back action which stores energy on impact, then releases it with tremendous power and speed. Yonex also utilizes a new graphite construction known as Cup-Stack Carbon Nanotube in its RDiS racquets which helps the frame flex, yet provide quick repulsion for power and a solid feel. New Toughlex and Aero-Box Variframe technologies enhance frame response and stability.

The RDiS 200 Light is for the intermediate to advanced player looking for a blend of power and control in a 98 square inch headsize, with a 0.8 ounce lighter static weight than the standard RDiS 200. Expect control and predictability, with a more forgiving sweetspot than the RDiS 100. Standard 27 inch length for improved maneuverability versus the longer length RDS 003. 22/20mm tapered beam for excellent control, spin potential, and feel.

    I haven't used Yonex racquets in many years as they were not offering a solid light racquet in the lineup. I read the description and have found that it's pretty accurate. The racquet is light, particularly for Yonex, and is very solid at the baseline. The volleys need to be a bit more true otherwise there's some lack of stability. I found the racquet easy to swing on the serve and provides decent power for the weight. Hard to beat the quality for the price.
