Head updates the Graphene Touch Radical line with the all-new 2019 Graphene 360 Radical racquets. This new Radical PWR comes with a new look to go with excellent new updates from Head Tennis.

As you can tell by the look -- the Radical gets a makeover, with Head updating the cosmetic – showcasing a new asymmetric color-blocking design. The new identity represents versatility that comes with the Radical PWR. Head created the Radical Power tailored toward that beginner to intermediate level looking for power & forgiveness.

New features into the Radical PWR includes the implementation of Graphene 360 into the frame. Graphene 360 forms the structural base of the racquet & offers players upgrades over the previous Graphene Touch technology. Head uses rings at 3,9, & 12 o’clock portions of the racquet – creating less twist in the racquet which products better energy transfer – giving more power and additional control. Graphene has also been implemented into the shaft of the Radical PWR to help enable a counterweighted balance for power and maneuverability. The additional Graphene in the racquet head gives less frame flex, allowing for more power.

The Head Radical PWR continues to feature Head's adaptive string pattern. Which gives you the option for traditional 16x19 or the very open fanned out 14x19 string pattern. The 14x19 string pattern provides more space within the strings & promotes a little more string movement and forgiveness.

Overall, the Radical Pro features an oversized 110 square inch head, a light 9.9 ounce strung weight, and an extended 27.4-inch length -- allowing for an excellent game improvement option that is perfect for the player with a slower more compact swing style looking for both power and forgiveness.

For Optimal String Performance Head Recommends:

  • Power: Head Reflex
  • Spin: Head Hawk Rough
  • Control: Head Hawk

If selecting tension "Below Range", please note at checkout within the comments field your desired tension value.

Please note: This racquets standard string pattern is 14x19. Please note in the comments your desired string pattern.

As an older player, I purchased this racquet because it is arm/shoulder friendly and reasonably accurate, though it took me time to get used to it. Not as precise as the Pure Drive (107) I was using, but picks off volleys well and good at digging out shots that land at my feet. Good spin potential.

Played tennis all my life. From Dunlop Maxpli woodie to T2000 Wilson, then all the oversized through the 80s, 90s, 2000s. I had been using the Babolat pure drive for the last 10 years. This racquet, The Head Graphene 360 Radical PWR is the best hands down. With the recommended Red Hawk strings @ 53#, I have never had better feel at the net, racquet control for my top spin game and power on my serve. I bought two and switch them out each set to keep the strings identical. The weight is excellent, and the control perfect. I can only say, buy it, you'll like it!

Great racket. Switched from a Speed Power with 115 to this with 110 and saw no difference my overall play except this was a bit more maneuverable. Highly recommended.

A wonderful racquet! I had been using the Head Si6 for many years because it was the only racquet I could use without getting tennis elbow. I tried this racquet-- and found increased power and control-- with still no tennis elbow. Wish I could give it more than 5 stars!!

Great racquet. It generates a lot of power without loose control.

Excellent racket. I just got back into tennis after a ten year absence and this Head racket was a great choice. Oversized hitting area, lightweight and good balance.

Demoed racket first; like it so much that I bought a 2nd as I break strings often.

Great control with larger sweet spot from on 8/7/2020 12:00:00 AM wrote:

Great racquet in the senior league I am playing in. Ideal weight for me and the balance in control and power works. If the ball meets outside of the sweet spot, it gives a ping sound from the hollow racquet frame.

This is a great racket; extremely powerful and maneuverable. The sweet spot is quite large. I play with an old Radical S so I was curious to see if I liked the Pwr more. I did!
