Comfortable shoe. Good support. Not especially soft or cushioned . Size might be a bit tight compared to other NB shoes. Good price and arrived as predicted in a few business days. Lighter than Adidas Barricades I have been wearing for a few years

Ok for now

Not really thrilled about the shoe. It looks great but the shoe fits like it's stiff. I need to break them in, I hope. True to size, I fit into a 10.5.

Nice looking way too tight

Nice looking arrived on time. However they were too tight and I had to return them. I am normally a 2E but the hard upper shell pushed down on my foot.

As a woman with a wide foot I find myself forced to shop men's shoes. NB is know for having wider shoes but this was too narrow, the plastic exterior pieces crushed my feet at their widest point. Sadly sending back.

Careful of sizing!

I normally wear an 8.5 shoe (US) but I have ordered NB shoes in the past and been generally happier with size 9. Ordered these in 9 and while the fit everywhere else was good the toe area and forefoot were ridiculously tight. Just behind the toes on the top was too tight, and the outer forefoot needed to be a bit wider as well. I took a pair of shoe stretchers (the wood ones that go in dress shoes) and added thickness below them to really force them tight in the toes and left them like that for an hour or so. Now I can wear the shoes and even tighten the lace a little - I am sure they will stretch a bit more with use, and when the insole compresses a little. So we'll have to see how they are on the court but at least now I can give them a fair shot.

Did not fit......Not even close

I wish I could write a review about how these shoes work on the court, but unfortunately I couldn't wear them more than 1 day. I know most warrantied shoes have a break-in period, but these were to short and too narrow from the minute they were out of the box. All the descriptions said they fit "regular" or "normal", that's just not correct. BE CAREFUL about what size and length you order.

I love these shoes from New Balance. I have a pair for playing on the hard courts and a pair for working out in the gym. I bought this pair for anytime I play on the clay. This style of shoe gives my feet the right amount of room and stability. Also, I am able to move quite well in these shoes compared to other shoes.

The past generation 996 required little to no break in period. The new generation is much stiffer and requires a long break in period. I liked the old 996 better.

These were way too narrow for me. I could barely cram my foot in them. Felt close to normal width. I've been playing in NB 1006 in 4E with the laces tightened a lot since they are a bit too wide. Apparently the 1006 is the only truly wide lightweight wide court shoe for made now for serious players.

This 2E might be a hair tighter than my others, but I’d rather have them a little snug than too loose. Haven’t worn them competitively since I usually wear them casually for a few weeks, it they seem comfortable with nice support. Loves the color which can be worn with many different color combinations

Sticking with Asics

Many years ago, I wore New Balance shoes religiously. Although long break-in was needed, they were comfortable and supportive, and the soles lasted. At some point, I went to the Asics Resolution line and keep coming back to them. (I also tried the Yonex Power Cushion series for about a year in there.) I was looking for a pair of Asics on closeout but I wanted to try NB again based on the reviews I read, but they came up short literally (tight toebox) and in expectation. The cushioning was no where close to Asics. I ended up returning them. In the meanwhile, I've been wearing the Asics Court FFs for about 2 months and love them despite the need for a shoehorn to put on; and, I now I have two back-up pair of Resolutions 7s that should keep me going for the rest of 2018 and hopefully into early 2019.

I love these shoes. I had 5 pairs of the v2 and was afraid of switching over to the v3 because they looked significantly different. My worries were unfounded. Loved these shoes so much I bought a second pair within a week of buying my first. They are also good for squatting if anyone is into lifting.

I am impressed with this shoe overall. I normally do not order wide shoes but I am glad I did, a D would have been much too narrow in the toe box. After approximately 8 hours on court, of which 6 of those hours have been on hard court, I have noticed very little wear. The length is none too long, if you are between sizes, I recommend you go up a size. I would buy again.

This is my 3rd pair of these shoes. They are very flexible because of the mesh. I tried to go back to ASICS but could not stand the stiff feeling of their uppers. Soles are good for clay. My only concern is that my heels hurt. Maybe the padding around the Achilles is the reason?

Good Looking (nuff said). The true key to any good tennis shoe is the fit. The choice of widths in NB make them exceptional. I switched to NB from Nike because Nike are always so narrow and had a longer break-in. These NBs hold up well, feel good and look good. The performance on court is 2nd to none.
